Paradise Theater
Next to LAX and Loyola Theater, the Paradise theatre is probably
the best known landmark of Westchester. I personally remember
watching the 1974 movie
'Arnold' (with Stella Stevens and Roddy
McDowell) here. Even then, it was a nice little screen. Not as
elaborate as the Loyola, just more regal.

Unfortunately, like the Loyola, it was gutted out to be converted
into an office building in 1981
The pictures below are form July 2011 visit where
I managed to take some picture of inside the
former theatre....without getting in trouble.

There are many plaques of its former life next to
one of the entrances. Plus, there's a display of its
other former life as a bowling alley...yes, there
was a bowlowing alley right next to the theatre.
